April in Paris

We are getting that longing feeling to visit our beloved Paris!
We miss our springtime vacations (always in April)

This year Paris was replaced with Costa Rica and although we LOVE Costa Rica
we still miss Paris!

So as not to be so sad, I am posting some photos of our last visit to Paris.
if anyone is interested in seeing the original post in detail you can find it here

You would never know the apt was there but for the blue door lodged between the shops. Down the street is the Saint-Sulpice Metro Station and a couple of blocks down another street is the famous Cafe de Flore (where the likes of Hemingway and Sartre could, for the price of a cup of coffee, sit and write for as long as they needed)  You can still buy a cup of coffee and spend the day people watching at that same cafe, although the price has gone up considerably.

I book all my Paris vacations through, Haven in Paris
They are the greatest!!!
They are pretty much a one stop shop for the best luxury apartments in Paris.
Professional and courteous and since they are based out of New York,
they speak ENGLISH and take US dollars!!!

from the outside you would never imagine this existed
The apartment is large by French standards (about 700sq ft)
Has 1 bedroom (includes bath w/shower) located in the adjacent cottage out back
and a king sofa bed in the main house with a full bath (with tub)

The 6th Arrondissement is situated at the centre of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine River.
The 6th arrondissement is the archetypal residential Parisian district. Small traditional boutiques rub elbows with latest fashion shops in surroundings marked with a rich historical heritage. The Quartier Saint-Germain-des-PrĂ©s especially is known to be the symbol of the Parisian elegance and refinement. It is the right place to experience the chic parisien.

My travelling photographer (with my friend Brenda celebrating her 60th birthday)

Our swanky little "hood"

since we had a full kitchen (and Brenda is a marvelous cook), we ate most meals at home but this little cafe was right across the street
and was great for famous french coffee and people watching

Love the little washer next to the fridge. the dryer was in the hall closet

apt comes complete with a TV, computer with free wifi

Uh, no surprise photos please!

See you again soon Paris!
sigh....
