I don't really like the rain

I had no idea it was going to rain today. 

I got dressed and headed out to catch my bus 

with only a few minutes to spare.

When I got outside I noticed that there were drops falling from the sky.

Big drops!

"could that be rain?" I thought

Yep, that's exactly what it was. 

 I had no umbrella  

and no time to go back inside

 to get one. 

I haven't felt much like posting pictures of myself lately either. 

I've been feeling sorry for myself 

and mourning the body I used to have. 

As hard as I try, 

I still get like that sometimes.

I guess it's like my doctor told me one time, 

"getting old is not for sissies" 

and I don't really like the rain

It puts me in a blue mood
